Reservations

It is highly recommended to reserve a puppy of the parents you desire since the process depends on the timing of a female's heat.

Conditions

The purchaser must agree to give the puppy proper living conditions for a Pyrenean. This means proper diet, exercise, veterinary attention, grooming, socialisation, training and housing.

The new owner must inform the breeder of major problems encountered.

In case that the animal no longer has a home with the purchaser:
a) The dog will not be disposed of without allowing the breeder the first opportunity of repossession.
b) Contact will be made with a Great Pyr Rescue club to give the animal a second career.
c) The animal will be euthanized if he has a major illness. The animal will not be set loose to fend for itself.

Guaranty

We have tried to ensure that the puppy is free of genetic problems of which we are aware. The parents and predecessors are hip certified and in excellent health with no known problems to pass on.

The puppy will be replaced with one of equal value under these conditions:

a) We receive a veterinarian's letter, including any test results, which outlines the particular genetic problem.
b) Our veterinarian concurs with the diagnosis.
c) The animal will be euthanized and a certificate is presented.
d) This happens within a period of 24 months of age.

In certain cases, the animal may be kept as long as it is not in discomfort. The guaranty ends with the replacement of the puppy.

In the event of abuse or neglect as determined by a qualified veterinarian or professional animal expert, the animal is to be surrendered to our kennel complete with registration signed over to us.
